Vacation Reads

I’m on vacation this week, so I’m turning this post over to you. Readers, what books have you read recently that you’d recommend I pick up while I’m away? Please share in the comments!

I like to read books set in the place I’m visiting. For Greece or the south of France I always take a Mary Stewart (brilliant romantic suspense) and for a beach holiday in England I always take Sanditon by Jane Austen and Another Lady (I can read that every year!).

I bet that enhances your visit. I find I tend to read historical fiction when I’m visiting family because in gives me something to talk about with my mother and grandmother, who are both big fans of historical fiction. I went with Anthony Doerr’s All The Light We Cannot See for this trip.
