Liz Osisek grew up in upstate New York. She attended Northwestern University, where she majored in Classics, was converted into an avid football fan by her marching band mates, and co-founded the creative writing club No Strangers to Fiction. After realizing no one would pay her to study dead languages, she got her master’s degree in library and information sciences at the University of Illinois. She now works as a youth services librarian in central Indiana and writes young adult novels.
